Pet ID Tags Travel Kits

Before you move

  • Make sure that on the day of the move your pet is wearing both its old ID Tag and the New ID Tag as a prevention, once you are finally packed and ready to go,  only then take off the old  ID  Tag though you may prefer to leave it until you reach your new home.
  • If your pet is micro chipped make sure that you have altered the address linked to the animals ID Chip, if you are in doubt check with your vetinary surgeon.
  • Always provide water when moving your pets, and if necessary get professional advice.

Pet Carriers:

  • Buy a good quality pet carrier that is suitable for your type and size of pet for transporting your pet from one place to another. Do not use card board boxes for small pets such as hamsters they will chew through it, loose animals in a vechicle can be dangerous!
  • If they aren't familiar with the cage then encourage them to use it before your moving day.

Pet Travel Kit:

  • Food, water, dishes, can opener (if required), leash (if required), a few treats, favourite toy and some type of bedding. Don't forget a scooper and plastic bags for cleaning up after your dog!
